Hi Friends, It’s the time of year that the Blackfeet Nourish Project, a program of Farm Hands/Nourish the Flathead, can really use your help.  Your support has made possible: over 33,000 lbs of food delivered to the Blackfeet Reservation in 2016.   $8000 in food purchases that supported local Flathead farmers and businesses. Fresh, nutritious fruit to Browning School kids. Supplemental food for the Medicine Bear homeless shelter – serving free lunches 5 days a week. The Indigenous Food and Agriculture Initiative (IFAI), with generous support by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) through its Seeds of Native Health campaign, announce the opening of up to 20 VISTA positions available at up to 10 tribal governments and tribal communities throughout the United States.
