Friends of FAST Blackfeet

Meet some of our friends and partners!

FNDI (First Nations Development Institute) has supported our organization with generous grants and connections that have immensely contributed to our growth.

The Blackfeet Tribe’s Agriculture Resource Management Plan (ARMP), is a plan that will create policy in agriculture resource, land, conservation, holistic management practice and water resource management, as well as agriculture and livestock regulation for both the Blackfeet Tribe and the United States governments.

The ARMP supports FAST Blackfeet through the inclusion of FAST’s work in the Tribe’s official planning. They also tell good jokes and are just fun to work with!

Farm Hands-Nourish the Flathead has been the fiscal sponsor for FAST Blackfeet since 2015.

Nourish the Flathead runs the Blackfeet Nourish Project which has been providing food every other week to the Blackfeet Food Bank, Medicine Bear Shelter, Heart Butte Senior Center and the Browning School District’s BackPack and School Pantry programs since 2011.

Farm Hands – Nourish the Flathead is a non-profit advocacy group in Flathead County that works to connect people with the sources of their food through education, outreach and market support.
